#CALENDAR MISSING AFTER UPGRADING TO OUTLOOK 2016 INSTALL#
If you select Install anyway to upgrade to Office 2016, and then you start Outlook, Outlook may be unable to connect to the Exchange Server Autodiscover service because Autodiscover is not configured or is not working.
#CALENDAR MISSING AFTER UPGRADING TO OUTLOOK 2016 UPDATE#
For previous versions of Outlook, only those that have extended support may continue to work with Microsoft 365, although with reduced functionality. The update process checks your current Outlook configuration to determine whether you are affected by some known issues. Microsoft 365 works with any version of Outlook that is in mainstream support, which includes the latest version of Outlook 2016. Outlook compatibility with Microsoft 365 and your on-premises environment depends on the system requirements for your deployment:

#CALENDAR MISSING AFTER UPGRADING TO OUTLOOK 2016 HOW TO#
One caveat, at the end of the process you need to create an AD object - this object had already been created so it looked like HCW had at least tried to make the OAUTH link but hadnt fully completed it. Outlook provides you with many different options for how to view or arrange your calendar or calendars. Again, these are ALL on premises mailboxes, we have not migrated any mailboxes yet.

So I ran the manual configuration of OAUTH from that link and calendar button started to appear after 30 mins. AD Azure connect was already run with optional hybrid exchange enabled.

On premises existing Mail contacts and groups WERE visible in exchange online admin. Its all still there if I look in the Outlook desktop application, but just not. They are all associated with my work (Exchange) account, and pretty much everything from that account (but, weirdly, not quite everything - the odd event remains) has gone. No mailboxes have been migrated, all are on premises. This morning, however, a load of calendar items just disappeared from the calendar app. Exchange 2016 on premises, premium office 365 with licenses applied for exchange online plan. As long as it is the latest version for iPhone (they must have iOS 9 or later, and updated Outlook app), there is 'Sync Contacts' slider under Settings (gear in top right corner of app) that will sync the contacts one-way. Apparently this is know and Microsoft has posted a KB on the fact that Outlook 2016 does not support editing shared calendars. I had previously ran HCW and this completed with no errors (I assumed the hybrid process was fully complete). Outlook app has different option for syncing the contacts to their phone. My family has a shared calendar on and like many on this thread after was switched to Exchange, the shared calendar can no longer be edited on Outlook 2016 for Windows. Get-IntraOrganizationConnector |fl Name,TargetAddressDomains,DiscoveryEndpoint,Enabledīrought no errors but no data.

I had exactly the same issue as you and have solved it by following OAUTH manual setup to the letter via this doc.
